“Even If BAT Wins The Election, Prepare For The Worst Before Things Get Better” — Buhari Tells Nigerians
As the date of the 2023 general elections keeps getting closer, the president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, has come out to advise the presidential candidate of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on how to rule the country.
He stated that, in serving Nigerians, he must be prepared for the worst if he eventually becomes president after him. President Buhari made this statement while speaking at the state banquet in Abuja to clear the air on the rumors that if Bola Ahmed Tinubu becomes the next president, things will suddenly get better.
According to him, “Nigerians have accused me of an inexperienced wealth of development for the country, but I know I have worked and saved the country.”
“Our presidential candidate is campaigning, and people think if he gets into office things will suddenly become better, but in the actual sense, Nigerians must be prepared for the worse because things will get worse before getting better.”
He further stated that he will serve Nigerians till his very last day in office, and he then urged Nigerians to be ever patriotic and exercise their voting rights in the forthcoming election for the right candidate.
