Ademola Adeleke breaks silence following dismissal as Osun State Governor
Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke rejects the Tribunal’s judgement which sacked him on Friday, January 27, 2023.
This comes hours after the Tribunal declared the former governor, Adegboyega Oyetola as the lawful winner of the July 16th, 2022 elections, having found ‘proof’ of over-voting.
Ademola Adeleke has, however, assured his supporters that there is no cause for alarm while affirming that he would challenge the ruling at the Court of Appeal.
“Let our people be reassured that we will do everything possible to retain this widely acclaimed mandate,” the governor said in a statement signed by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed.
The judgment has stirred mixed reactions across social media networks in Osun State, and Nigeria as a whole.
