“Trending Video” – Huge Stacks Of Naira Notes Hidden At Home Being Packed Into Sacks

A video which surfaced online shows the moment huge piles of money were being packed into sacks for supposed relocation.


The monies which were stored in N1000 denomination were being arranged for onward packing and movement.

Edujandon.com is yet to ascertain where the clip was recorded or for what purpose the monies are meant, however, it was reported that they decided to remove the large cash which was hidden in the house, following CBN’s move to redesign the naira.

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) announced days ago that iy will start circulating newly redesigned N200, N500, and N1000 naira notes from December 15, 2022.

The CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele made this known during a special briefing, where he noted that naira notes were redesigned following approval by the Federal Government.

He also explained that the new and existing naira notes shall remain legal tender and circulate together until 31st of January, 2023, when the existing currencies shall seize to be used for transactions

Meanwhile, Edujandon.com reported earlier how a young Nigerian man got netizens talking after he gave the impression that he is rich and said that he is tired of saving money.

He shared a video which captured bundles of Naira notes and said that he wants to squander everything. The guy wondered if billionaire, Aliko Dangote is not a man like him who spends his riches however he pleases.

He went on to compare himself to men who act as sugar daddies to beautiful Nollywood actresses. He went on to say that he does not want to continue saving money his entire life without being able to spend.

‘‘I am tired of saving money, I wanna squander. I Dangote not a man like me? Men wey dey carry Destiny Etiko and co no be men like me. I cannot be saving money all my life,” he said.

In the clip, he spread the stacks of N500 naira on his bed together with a laptop, and even showed his face as he was holding some other bundles.
