The Soldier Who Killed My Daughter Sent N150,000 But I Haven’t Seen Him Personally – Victim’s Mother Lament
An elderly woman has lamented on how a military officer allegedly killed her daughter and sent N150,000 only after they complained.
In a video clip shared by the Nation Newspaper, the elderly woman who was speaking in Pidgin English said that she hadn’t personally met the soldier who allegedly killed her daughter. She noted that as the mother of the deceased, she is supposed to meet the killer of her child.
Further speaking, the woman lamented that after her daughter was killed by the soldier, they complained to the authorities about the accumulating bills in the morgue and the cost of the autopsy. After the complaints, she stated that the accused soldier sent N150,000 through an Army captain to send it to her daughter’s bank account.
The woman revealed that after getting the money, N80,000 was deposited for her late daughter’s coffin. She added that she traveled to Aba to get some clothes for the burial, noting that the sewing of the clothes alone cost her N35,000. Also, she claimed that the cost of the autopsy was N10,000 and said that a doctor confirmed to them that her daughter died from a bullet wound.
