Portuguese football star, Cristiano Ronaldo has officially ended his playing with English football giants, Manchester United.

This comes after a bombshell interview with Piers Morgan dominated news headlines in the weeks leading up to the World-Cup

The 37-year-old who is unarguably one of the greatest footballer ever saw his relationship with the board at Manchester United turn sour after he seemingly called out the poor way the club was being managed.

Ronaldo was also consistently agitated that his role had been reduced to the bench and he took it out on manager Erik Ten Hag whom he felt disrespected him by leaving him on the bench.

The Club Made This Statement:

“The club thanks him for his immense contribution across two spells at Old Trafford, scoring 145 goals in 346 appearances, and wishes him and his family well for the future”.

“Everyone at Manchester United remains focused on continuing the team’s progress under Erik ten Hag and working together to deliver success on the pitch”.
