Nigeria’s Flamingos on Sunday danced Kizz Daniel’s song, Cough (Odo), with Germany players after their 2022 FIFA World Cup third-place victory..
In a trending video online after the match, Bankole Olowookere’s side were seen dancing Odo with Germany players after the match.
The Flamingos were wearing Germany’s jerseys and vice versa.
Edujandon.com reports that Flamingos defeated Germany at the FIFA Under-17 Women’s World Cup third place in Mumbai on Sunday.
Nigeria won their first-ever FIFA Under-17 Women’s World Cup bronze medals at the weekend after a 3-2 penalty kicks shootout win against Germany.
The Flamingos had surrendered a 3-0 lead during the match, with penalties needed to determine the winner at the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Goa.
Substitutes, Blessing Sunday, Ajakaye and Etim scored from the spot for Nigeria, while defender Tumininu Adeshina missed.
But it didn’t matter as Pauliner Bartz missed an important kick for Germany
