“Leave our boyfriends for us” – Ladies in Warri stage protest against EFCC following arrest of 95 suspected ‘yahoo boys’ (Photos below)
A number of youths in Warri, Delta state, have staged a protest against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) today, October 4.
The protest comes days after operatives of the anti-graft agency arrested 95 suspects in connection to internet fraud in the state.

The aggrieved protesters accused EFCC of arresting young men with no link to internet fraud and falsely accusing them of cybercrime.
Photos and videos from the agitation have been shared on social media, and the protesters burnt tires on major roads, held placards with different inscriptions such as ‘END EFCC’, ‘It’s not a crime to be a youth’ and so on.
