Paris Saint-Germain manager, Christopher Galtier has described forward, Lionel Messi as a selfless player..

Galtier said this after Messi scored a stunning free-kick in their 2-1 win over OGC Nice in Ligue 1 on Saturday.

The Argentine captain opened the scoring for PSG by scoring a brilliant free-kick from almost 25 yards, beating Nice goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.

It was the 60th direct free-kick of Messi’s career as he once more reminded everyone of his set-piece prowess.

Speaking at his post-match press conference (via Get France Football News), Galtier said he is happy that Messi performed well against Nice.

“I have an incredible pleasure to see him every morning in training. He’s in good spirits, very happy. He’s a very selfless player, who animates the game and has always been used to scoring,” Galtier said.

“He is getting the taste for scoring again. Can he become the best player in the world again? Yes, if he is in incredible form this summer. He is well prepared. He’s happy. And when he’s happy, he performs well.”
