Fernandes speaks on Ronaldo’s future after Man United’s 1-1 draw against Chelsea

Manchester United captain, Bruno Fernandes, has admitted that himself and his teammates are in the dark over Cristiano Ronaldo’s future at the club..

Ronaldo was removed from the Red Devils squad after he angrily stormed out of the bench and straight into the dressing room and out of Old Trafford before the end of their 2-0 win over Tottenham on Wednesday.

In his absence, United battled to a creditable 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge after Casemiro’s late equaliser earned a valuable point in the battle for a top four place.

Ronaldo is expected to return to boost United’s frontline that has mustered fewer goals than bottom of the table Leicester City so far.

But Portuguese compatriot Fernandes is insisting the Ronaldo situation will be dealt with in house.

According to him, the players are not expected to talk about Ronaldo’s situation but keep it quiet inside.

He said the team is expected to deal with the situation inside and nobody else, not even the media has to know what is going on.

“So the most important thing for everyone, including Cristiano, is the team wins and I’m pretty sure of that,” he told Sky Sports.
