See What Osun Governor- Elect, Ademola Did As Unknown Thugs Set PDP Senator’s House On Fire
The Daily Post reports that on Friday night, unidentified thugs set fire to the Ede home of Kofoworola Babajide’ s parents.
In the Osun State House of Assembly, Babajide is the minority leader.
Additionally, it was learned that as a result of the occurrence, Ede Town locals are currently residing in fear.
Speaking to reporters on Saturday, Babajide claimed that his father hasn’ t been seen since his home was set on fire.
He revealed that before his parent’ s home was set on fire, some hoodlums thought to be political thugs had earlier attacked several PDP members at the location of a ward he attended in Ede.
”Some armed thugs attacked us during a ward meeting of PDP in Ede yesterday (Friday). After that, I left for Osogbo. Later, I was told that they were attacking my parents’ house.
They burnt the house and since then, I have not seen my father. We don’ t know if he’ s burnt alive inside the house or they have kidnapped him. ”
Senator Ademola Adeleke, the incoming governor of Osun State, responded to the news afterward.
Olawale Rasheed Adeleke, the outgoing governor’ s spokesperson, charged that Oyetola had planned to undermine the state before he left office in November.
In advance of the changeover exercise, he claimed that the goal is to instigate disputes and retaliation attacks from Ede that will eventually encompass the entire state.
