Cristiano Ronaldo irrelevant to my happiness in life – Bayern manager reacts to Dortmund move
Bayern Munich boss Julian Nagelsmann said that the German champions do not care if Cristiano Ronaldo joins rivals Borussia Dortmund..
Reports in Germany yesterday said that Borussia Dortmund were interested in acquiring the services of the 37-year-old Portuguese.
Ronaldo is said to be desperate to leave Manchester United this summer over their lack of Champions League football this season.
And asked about Ronaldo’s future on Friday, Nagelsmann told reporters during his post match press conference, “I don’t care if he goes to Dortmund.
“He is still under contract with Manchester United. You don’t talk about other players.
“He’s a good player and has scored a lot of goals in his life, will probably score a few more.
“Whether he goes to Dortmund or not is irrelevant to my happiness in life.”
