Former Super Eagles defender, Taribo West was recently at the receiving end of harsh criticism following his prophecy for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu.
Edujandon.com recalls that Taribo had before the presidential primaries of the APC prophesied that Tinubu was going to emerge victorious.
Taribo spoke during a novelty match to mark the APC national leader’s 70th birthday in March.
Taribo was sighted in a trending video fervently praying to God to make the former federal lawmaker’s dream of ruling Nigeria a reality.
Taribo had prayed that many people would sacrifice their ambition and support the Asiwaju of Lagos.
Less than two months after the torrential prayer, Tinubu clinched the APC ticket against all odds.
Recall that during the primary, many aspirants, including Godswill Akpabio, Kayode Fayemi, Ibikunle Amosun and others stepped down and urged their supporters to queue behind Tinubu.
At the moment, the Jabagan is currently gaining national support among entertainers, political leaders and business moguls.
