“If Buhari can take us back to where he took us, I’ll hang his portrait in my house” – Dino Melaye Lament
Dino Melaye, a former well-known legislator from Kogi state in Nigeria, just shared a video of his interview with Africa Independent Television on his verified Facebook page (AIT).
Dino Melaye made comparisons between the previous and present administrations in the film before concluding, “If President Muhammadu Buhari can return us back to where he got us from, I will have his image in my house.”
Dino Melaye, a former senator, clarified the aforementioned sentiments by bringing up the rising cost of travel. In addition, he discussed the dollar-to-naira exchange rate at the time, StechiteGist Media gathered.
“I want Buhari to take me to the moment I can leave my home in Abuja in the morning and travel to Kogi state by road without being afraid,” said senator Dino Melaye.
Sen. Dino Melaye concluded by saying, “What I want is a circumstance where I would not be afraid to attend to church because of abductors.”
