A Group Of Men Forced A Woman From A Hospital Bed Sexually Abused Her To Death And Buried Her (Details below)

Police in Uganda and carrying out investigation at the scene where the body of a 38-year-old woman was found buried after she was allegedly dragged from a hospital bed by unknown men and sexually abused her to death before burying the body in a shallow grave.

According to media reports, the victim went missing between 10 and 12 a.m from a hospital bed by a group of men who ended up abusing her to death before burying her body in a shallow grave.

Dr. Nicholas Tumwesige, Kakindo Health Center IV in-charge affirmed the incident saying the security personnel at the health facility got concerned after noticing that victim had gone missing for hours and her children were crying.

He said that the patients and medical workers at Kakindo Health Center IV in Kakumiro District are horrified after a woman who was attending to her two sick children was kidnapped from the health facility in the wee hours of Thursday morning, raped and killed.

Police told the media that one of the men executed Thursday, Abdifatah Abdirahman Warsame (not the real name), confessed to participating in the rape but denied involvement in her killing.Play video for their confessions

He informed the court that on the day of the kidnapping, the other person who took him inside his house and showed patient, tied up in a room. He said he was convinced by that person to participate in the ugly act.

Human rights groups condemn the incident saying the killing of that woman was a “serious and horrific crime” but says the government needed to “credibly investigate and prosecute the crime” in honor of the victim.
