“They Said He Spoke Bad Things Against Prophet Mohammed” – Late Ahmed Usman Collegue Narrate (Details below)
A colleague of the late Mr. Ahmed Usman has narrated what happened that led to Mr. Ahmed’s death.
Mr.Ahmed, a Vigilante personnel, was set ablaze by angry youths at the Federal Housing Authority Estate, Lugbe in the Abuja Municipal Area Council for allegedly blaspheming Prophet Muhammad on Saturday.
The angry youths were said to have stoned and beat him up before burning his body using petrol and a disused car tyre.
In an interview conducted by Arise TV, one of the late Mr. Ahmed’s colleagues said the deceased said bad things about Prophet Mohammed.
He said: “My colleague didn’t know about what was going on. We went to arrest a resident. Then people said he said bad things against Prophet Mohammed.
Then they wanted to kill him. The police and civil defense tried to stop the mobs but they were too much and outpowered them.”
