Reno Omokri Reacts To Tinubu’s Visit To Attacked Catholic Church In Owo
Former Presidential aide, Reno Omokri has reacted to All Progressives Congress (APC) national leader, Bola Tinubu’s visit to Ondo State on Monday..
Edujandon.com had reported earlier that the 2023 APC Presidential aspirant left the party’s primaries in Abuja and visited the Catholic Church in Owo where gunmen killed scores of worshippers on Sunday morning.
Tinubu, who had earlier lamented the incident in a statement, visited Ondo to commiserate with the State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
The APC leader said it was necessary to visit the scene of the attack reportedly carried out by a yet to be identified group of gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen.
Reacting to Tinubu’s visit to Owo, Omokri who is known to always attack the APC leader and the entire broom camp, took to his social media page to acknowledge that the presidential aspirant’s visit to the state is commendable.
Omokri, however, urged Tinubu to use his wealth to donate generously to the survivors of the attack, noting that scores of them are still in need of blood donation at the Federal Medical Centre in Owo.
“I COMMEND BOLA TINUBU FOR SPEEDILY VISITING THE SCENE OF THE OWO KILLINGS, AT ST. FRANCIS CATHOLIC CHURCH, OWO. THIS SHOWS LEADERSHIP. RIGHT NOW, THE FEDERAL MEDICAL CENTRE, OWO, NEEDS FINANCES AND BLOOD DONATIONS. I KNOW THAT ASIWAJU HAS THE MEANS, AND I ENCOURAGE HIM TO DONATE GENEROUSLY TO SAVE LIVES!” OMOKRI WROTE.
