“I Feel Like Crying” – Aisha Yesufu Says After Peter Obi Picked Doyin Okupe As Running Mate (Details below)

The Presidential Candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi who recently went to Egypt to understudy the Egyptian economy and power sector has picked Doyin Okupe as Presidential Running mate. This was necessary as the deadline INEC gave for picking a running mate was today, June 17, 2022.

This has generated mixed reactions and one of those who reacted is the activist, Aisha Yesufu. She took to her twitter page where she said she saw Doyin Okupe trending on twitter and when she checked, she discovered that he was announced as Peter Obi’s running mate. Aisha Yesufu said she feels like crying as she never expected such.

As things stand, Atiku Abubakar and Ifeanyi Okowa of PDP constitute a Muslim/Christian ticket, while Tinubu and Peter Obi who picked a Muslim and a Christian respectively constitute a Muslim/Muslim and Christian/Christian ticket.

Some other Nigerians have also said Peter Obi shouldn’t have chosen a Christian as running mate, what is your take on this?
