It is no longer news that the Nigerian Police have confirmed the arrest of some suspect in connection with the abduction of Greenfield University students sometime last year along the Kaduna-Abuja express way.

It would be recalled that Force Public Relations department paraded the suspects at the Force headquarters in Abuja yesterday.

Among the 31 suspects paraded before the press is Aminu Lawal, who is 2nd in command to bandit leader, Yellow Ashana, and Murtala who partook in the student’s kidnap.

According to Edujandon.com, the suspects confessed that they rap*d the Greenfield female students after taking them to another location before killing them as a result of the delay in the payment of ransom.

“While they were in our custody and ransom was delayed, We took the students to a different location and after r*ping the girls among them, shot them to death,” the suspect told Vanguardngr.com in the course of the interrogations.
