“We had about 1,000 people we didn’t know at our wedding” – Don Moen and wife celebrate 49th wedding anniversary
Internationally recognized gospel singer and songwriter, Donald James Moen popularly known as Don Moen and his wife, Laura Moen are celebrating 49 years of marital bliss..
The ‘God will make a way’ singer took to his Instagram page to share an epic throwback photo of his wife as he recounted how he got married to his woman.
Don Moen revealed he got married to Laura at a concert at a downtown theatre/church in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The couple had welcomed anyone in the audience to stay for the wedding if they wished and surprisingly over 1,000 people were present at their wedding.
Don Moen noted how blessed he is as he and his wife have been through an adventure.
“49 YEARS AGO TODAY, I MARRIED THIS GIRL AFTER A CONCERT AT A DOWNTOWN THEATRE/CHURCH IN MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA. WE WELCOMED ANYONE IN THE AUDIENCE TO STAY FOR THE WEDDING IF THEY WISHED. THE WEDDING STARTED AT 10:00O PM AND WE HAD ABOUT 1,000 PEOPLE WE DIDN’T KNOW AT OUR WEDDING! WHAT AN ADVENTURE! I’M A VERY BLESSED MAN, AND GOD IS SO GOOD!!! I LOVE YOU, LAURA!!!!! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!”.
