A Twitter user known as Nonny took to his twitter handle to share one of Peter Obi’s promises during one of his presidential campaigns. But Bello Shagari didn’t find it interesting.

In the tweet, Nonny recounted Peter Obi’s promise that he if he eventually becomes the president of Nigeria, and sees any government official under his administration spending dollars in the country, such government official is going straight to jail.

Nonny, in his tweet prayed that such a dream should come true in Nigeria.

However, Bello Shagari didn’t find the promise by Peter Obi interesting. To him, such statement is capable of making the presidential aspirant to lose the forthcoming 2023 presidential election.

While reacting to the statement, Bello Shagari retweeted Nonny’s tweet, saying that such promise by the presidential aspirant who is running under the umbrella of the People’s Democratic Party is nothing but the route to losing elections in Nigeria.

However, many people are in support of this promise by Peter Obi, believing that it will be helpful to change the narrative of the country currently. But many other people sees such promise as unrealistic. They believe that it is just a political stunt that the presidential aspirant is using to get votes.
