Wizkid is Ungrateful To Banky W – Ossai Ovie Success Writes

Special Assistant on Media to the Delta State Governor, Ossai Ovie Success has taken sides in the seeming rift between Banky W and his former signee Wizkid who has now metamorphosed into a global superstar.

Recall that days ago, Nigerian singer and actor, Bankole Wellington popularly known as Banky W voiced out his sentiment about his protégé Wizkid not showing up at his wedding on November 19, 2017.

Banky W and his wife, Adesua Etomi, recently joined their Ebuka Obi-Uchendu for the popular Blackbox interview where he took listeners of the show through his musical journey and what shapes his personality based on the questions posed to him.

During their conversation, Banky W revealed that he was disappointed with Starboy whose talent he nurtured for failing to show up at his wedding. He also revealed how Starboy left his record label under a cloud.

“Was I disappointed that he wasn’t at the wedding? I was but I know he tried because there was a show with a lot of the artists…I think it was One Africa,” he said.

Ossai in a Facebook post called out Wizkid for being ungrateful within the pool of the foregoing scheme. He wrote:

“Wizkid is ungrateful to Banky W.I know Wizkid when he was signed to EME record label owned by Banky W and as the CEO, Banky did all he could do to promote Wizkid.

Wizkid was so humble then to Banky W but today the story is different. He owes Banky w a lot and no matter what happened during his exit from EME, he should express appreciation to Banky W.Wizkid became a superstar because of Banky’s dedication to his career.

The fame Wizkid is enjoying today is as a result of Banky W’s involvement. Wizkid not acknowledging bank w is an act of ingratitude.No matter how Wizkid is feeling now, he shouldn’t disrespect a Banky W in any way .

He should think of his humble beginning and appreciate God for using Banky W in transforming his musical career which is now global. Wizkid is too young to disrespect Banky w. He should call Banky W to appreciate him.
