Tinubu picks N100m presidential form, Sanwo-Olu buys N50m governorship form
The National Leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu on Friday purchased the party’s N100 million presidential form to vie for the primary election..
Also, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu obtained the APC’s N50 million governorship form to qualify him to contest the primary election of the party.
Both Tinubu and Sanwo-Olu were not at the party’s secretariat in Abuja to pick the forms physically.
The forms were picked on their behalf by James Faleke, the lawmaker representing Ikeja Constituency at the House of Representatives.
Faleke was accompanied by Samuel Adejare who represents Agege Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives and a former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal.
Tinubu is currently in Saudi Arabia to observe the annual Umrah (Lesser Hajj) ritual for Muslims.
He declared his intention to contest the presidency under the APC in January after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.
He has since then toured Southwest, some parts of the north and met with key stakeholders to inform them of his decision.
