“We Killed Him Because He Was Stubborn And Refused To Cooperate With Us”- Suspects Confess After Kidnapping & Murdering A Taxi Driver (Details below)

Some rogue young men given to crime have now been taken into custody by operatives of the police command in Rivers State. It was learned that the criminals had abducted and killed a taxi driver.

The suspects.

The incident took place along East/West Road, close to Rumuodogo area, in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers. The victim’ s identity was given as Onyekachi Obioma Chukwuagu.

According to the police command’ s spokeswoman, Grace Iringe- Koko, the criminals had pretended to be passengers, who flagged down their victim’ s taxi, a red Toyota Corolla, and boarded it. He didn’ t know they had an evil plan for him.

Rumuodogo Road, Rivers.

The driver took them to Rumuodogo, and then they abducted him, leaving his car behind, by the side of the road. His whereabouts from there were not known. A complaint was filed concerning the incident, and police got to the scene.

Their investigations into the case led to the arrest of one of the suspects, Chisom Honest, who helped them arrest his colleagues: Omens Woke, Young Chitu, and Obichi Ngita.

The police also found the dead body of the driver, who the suspects said they killed because he didn’ t cooperate with them. The sad incident has sparked a lot of outrage online. See people’ s thoughts on the matter:

@Anonymous: Hope that a cutlass is available. I am volunteering to do the needful for them, free of cost, when they are sentenced to die. I move for their execution by the same method they dealt with that innocent driver.

Police should ‘ grill’ them thoroughly to get them to disclose where other bodies were dumped. . . . (because I suspect that this isn’ t their first murder), so other victims’ families can have closure, and be able to give their loved ones a decent burial. We need to put a stop to this rubbish, one way or another.
