NEPA: Lights goes off at Abuja Stadium as Black Stars train for game against Super Eagles (Video)
Ghana’s first and final training before the crucial World Cup play-off against Nigeria in Abuja was stopped after light went off at the Moshood Abiola stadium..
The Black Stars arrived in Abuja on Monday afternoon before going to the 60,000 capacity stadium to have their mandatory training before the big game on Tuesday. However, while training the light went off, leaving the Black Stars stranded and had to abruptly end their exercise..
The pre-game press conference was also affected by the absence of lights at the Moshood Abiola stadium.
Fifa! @FIFAcom must ban and fine @NGSuperEagles for intentionally taking off the lights 💡 when the BlackStars dey train dis is completely unacceptable, if NEPA can’t ensure 24/7 electricity jux hand over to @ECGghOfficial for 50 years pic.twitter.com/asdwICYElX
