Ukraine Releases Prisoners From Jail To Fight Russia

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has reportedly freed prisoners with military experience to join the fight against invading Russian forces and demanding immediate accession to the European Union, amid signs that international sanctions against Russia were causing economic turmoil..






“Under martial law, Ukrainians with real combat experience will be released from custody and will be able to compensate for their guilt in the hottest spots of the conflict. We have taken a decision which is not easy from the moral point of view, but which is useful from the point of view of our defences. The key is now defence,” Zelensky said.
