PSG forward, Kylian Mbappe has fired a warning to Real Madrid ahead of their Champions League round of sixteen second leg clash slated for March 9..

The Frenchman was PSG’s most important player in the first leg clash against Real Madrid last night, scoring the only goal of the game to give his side a slender advantage going into the second leg in Spain.

Mbappe, who has refused to renew his contract at PSG, spoke on his future following the victory. Mbappe became a free agent in the month of January.

The decision not to sign his new contract with the French giants brought him a slew of criticism and the forward had vowed to put up his best performance against his rumoured new club.

He also warned that PSG were not going to the Santiago Bernabeu to defend their 1-0 lead but to try to win the game comfortably.

The French forward created space between Eder Militao and Dani Carvajal to fire PSG ahead in the 94th minute.

“We’ll think about the game on March 9. I did say I would give everything I had and I needed to prove it on the pitch, with facts.

“I managed to do it a first time, now I need to prove it a second time at the Bernabeu.

“Going there to simply hold this result is not worthy of a club like PSG. We’ll have to analyze the game, it will be in a different context.

“I play in one of the best clubs in the world, I’m always going to give 100% throughout the entire season and then we’ll see what happens after,” he said.
