Storm Eunice batters Europe, Falling trees kill three
Falling trees killed three people as Storm Eunice hit the Netherlands on Friday (February 18), damaging buildings and blowing off parts of roof at the stadium of soccer club ADO Den Haag, authorities said..

The government sent out text alerts telling people to stay indoors and said they should only call emergency services in life-threatening situations.
“The emergency number is overloaded,” read the message.
The storm, which brewed in the central Atlantic and was spun up from the Azores towards Europe by the jet stream, posed a danger to life, Britain’s Meteorological Office said.
