Rangnick reveals why Man United may not qualify for Champions League

Manchester United boss Ralf Rangnick said the crisis rocking the club’s dressing room may hamper their chances of qualifying for the Champions League this season..

The defeat to Wolves last Monday left the Red Devils in the seventh position in the Premier League table, four points adrift of fourth-placed Arsenal.

It was his first defeat since taking over at Old Trafford despite bad performances and pressure growing on the German to turn things around.

Reports in London suggests that some of Manchester United stars are not buying into Rangnick’s 4-2-2-2 system while several players are looking to leave after failing to be handed minutes.

And ESPN claims that the German is seriously concerned that if the issues are not addressed soon then they can wave goodbye to their chances of finishing in the top four this season.

The report added that the former RB Leipzig boss was disappointed by defender, Luke Shaw’s comments, after the 1-0 defeat to Wolves.

United will hope to get back to winning ways when they host Aston Villa in the third round of the FA Cup on Monday night.
