Manchester United interim manager, Ralf Rangnick has confirmed his side’s selection decision against Aston Villa when both teams clash in the FA Cup on Monday night..

Rangnick said he is looking to name a strong team when the Red Devils host Aston Villa in the FA Cup third-round tie.

He said he would feature the best possible team against Aston Villa at Old Trafford, adding that there might be a few changes.

The German said Man United would take the game against Steven Gerrard’s side as if it was a normal Champions League or Premier League game.

Rangnick’s side head to the game after losing 1-0 against Wolves in their last fixture on January 3.

“We will definitely not play with eight or nine different players,” Rangnick told MUTV.

“Or even 10, as we did against Young Boys in the Champions League.

“We will try to play with the best possible team, with a strong team. There might be a few changes, but I haven’t taken the final decisions yet myself.

“We will definitely try to play this game as if it was a normal Premier League or Champions League game.”

The kick-off time for Man United vs Aston Villa is 8.55 pm.
