#AFCON2021: Salah, Mane on course to clash in final

Liverpool’s duo of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane are on course to face off in the final of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations..

Both forwards played a crucial role, as Egypt and Senegal qualified for the semi-finals on Sunday.

Salah scored and provided an assist for the second, as the Pharaohs beat Morocco 2-1 in a North African Derby.

Mane did not score against Equatorial Guinea, but was instrumental as the Teranga Lions progressed into the last four, with a 3-1 win later in the day.


Egypt will play hosts Cameroon in the first semi-final, while Senegal take on Burkina Faso in the other tie.


If both Egypt and Senegal make it into the final, Salah and Mane will be seeking to lead their respective countries to glory.
