Idrissa Gueye gave PSG the lead in just 8 minutes and after that, Manchester City tried their best to breach the PSG wall. However, Gianluigi Donnarumma made sure that he kept a clean sheet in his first game for PSG.

Lionel Messi doubled PSG’s lead in the 74th minute as he dribbled at great speed down the right-wing, gliding infield, then slipping a ball down the channel for Mbappe, who flicks it back into the road of the new boy. Messi, on the edge of the D, lashes into the top right, another unstoppable shot. PSG goes at the top of Group A along with Club Brugge with 4 points.
