Alcohol, Wet dream, others not sin, tithe not ticket to heaven – Catholic Priest, Fr Kelvin
A Nigerian Catholic Priest serving in Malawi, Fr Kelvin Ugwu has countered some pastors on controversial doctrines bothering on intake of alcoholic drinks, wearing of trousers by ladies, nocturnal emission, tithing and others..

Edujandon.com reports that most Nigerian pastors have constantly preached against alcoholism, wearing of trousers by ladies and inability to pay tithes.
Popular churches like the renowned Deeper Life Bible Church banned female worshippers from wearing of trousers, tagging defaulters as sinners.
Similarly, most prosperity preaching pastors in the country have attributed poverty amongst members in the church to their inability to remit their tithes and offerings.
However, in a post on his verified Facebook page, the Catholic priest damned those doctrines and preachings, stating that tithe is not a guarantee for making heaven.
Fr Kelvin also revealed that nocturnal emission which is informally called sex dream or sleep orgasm is not a demonic attacker as perceived by many men of God. According to him, it is a normal thing in human life.
He wrote, “Let is make this more explicit. Eating of pork is not a sin. Wearing trousers for ladies is not a sin.
Drinking alcohol is not a sin.
“Not paying tithe will not take you to hell.
Paying tithe is not a ticket to heaven.
Owl is not devilish.
“Wall geckos and cats at your windows have nothing to do with your village people.
“Speaking in tongues is not for everyone and you don’t learn it and you don’t forge it.
There is nothing like spiritual husband.
Wet dream or nocturnal emission is normal. It is not a sin.
“The earlier you emancipate yourself from these falsehoods, the better
