Two Days After Wedding, Nigerian Man Dies In Motor Accident

A Nigerian man identified Jamilu Abdulhamid couldn’t live to enjoy his marriage as he died in a motor accident two day after his wedding in Kano State..

According to reports, Jamilu Abdulhamid tied the knot to his wife, Saratu Abdul Salisu on Sunday, July 11 in Kano State.

The inevitable accident happened along the Kaduna-Abuja highway on Tuesday, July 13 taking the life of the man, Abdulhamid. However, the bride who survived the accident sustained several injuries. She is currently receiving medical attention at an unknown hospital in Abuja.

The sad news was corroborated by the groom’s friend, Kabiru Garba who said the couple planned to travel to Benin Republic where they were supposed to stay.

Taking to Facebook Garba wrote;

“Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un! We lost Jamilu in a ghastly car accident on their way to Abuja. The couple just got married last Sunday and left Kano for Abuja in their plan to settle in their matrimonial home in Benin Republic. I had my last chat with Saratu yesterday where i was re-congratulating her on her marriage. Saratu is currently in a hospital in Abuja receiving medical attention.”

Meanwhile, images from the deceased’s previous Eid celebration revealed that he was married to another woman and that the two of them had children together.

“Celebration is incomplete without family. Happy Eid to my lovely wife.” he captioned the photos.
