Italy vs Spain: Italy advance to #Euro2020 final after a dramatic shoot-out
Italy have reached the Euro 2020 final by beating Spain 4-2 in a penalty shootout after a 1-1 draw..
Jorginho scored the decisive penalty after Gianluigi Donnarumma saved a shot from Alvaro Morata.
Italy will face either England or Denmark in Sunday’s (Monday AEST) final.
Scores were tied at the end of both 90 and 120 minutes before both Italy’s Manuel Locatelli and Spain striker Dani Olmo missed the first spot kick for their sides.
Earlier, Spain substitute Álvaro Morata scored an 80th-minute equaliser after exchanging passes with Olmo. His low shot beat Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Alvaro Morata has scored late to draw level with Italy in the Euro semis.
Italy took the lead in the 60th with a goal from Federico Chiesa. The winger curled a shot between Spain defenders Aymeric Laporte and Eric Garcia and into the far corner.
