COZA Senior Pastor, Biodun Fatoyinbo backs Bishop Oyedepo on sacking pastors
Biodun Fatoyinbo, Senior Pastor, Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, COZA, has supported Bishop David Oyedepo’s decision to sack some pastors of the church..
Recall that President and Founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, AKA Winners Chapel Worldwide, had said the only criteria for their sack was how many souls had been won in the church.
Oyedepo maintained that the pastors were sacked because they were unfruitful.
He described as nonsense, an allegation that he sacked some pastors for not generating enough income in their branches.
Reacting on Instagram, Fatoyinbo said there is no room for laziness and unfruitfulness in the house of God.
According to him, if they were sacked from the bank they would not report on social media.
”If you were fired by the Bank for not meeting up with your deliverables will you go on social media? In @bidemiolaoba ‘s voice “The Bible Says”. – He spoke also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.
”Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: And if it bears fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down,” he wrote
