Man Goes Naked In Bank To Protest Against ‘Illegal Withdrawals’ From His Account (Video)

A viral video circulating online has set social media abuzz as it captured the moment a man stripped in one of the new generational banks to express displeasure following ”illegal withdrawals” from his account..


The perturbed man who visited the bank with his children lamented that the incident which keeps happening repeatedly has drawn his kids out of school as he is unable to pay their fees.

In the video sighted by Edujandon.com , the young man stripped to his pants as some staff of the bank and security guards tried to calm him. He revealed in the video that the total amount of money that has been withdrawn from his account will sum up to N300K.

The distressing video evoked several reactions from Nigerians which saw some of them lashing out banks for deducting their customers’ money without their consent. Others also expressed sadness over the video. EDUJANDON.COM compiled some reactions below;

@abidemiawoleke shared her experience, she wrote: “I love this action, I remembered when I loss my hubby n I had my last child he was 3 months. My cousin sent me 20k then n Gtb no allowed me withdrawn due to bvn issue. I stormed the banking hall at Ibadan n drop my baby on the counter in front of cashier n started raging told them my story about my loss, Immediately the manage gave me my #20k cash.”
