‘We Will Shut Down The Southwest Today’- Olayemi Koiki Vows After Gunmen Attacked Igboho’s House (Details below)

Olayemi Koiki, spokesman for the popular Yoruba Activist Sunday Igboho has expressed rage after armed men believed to be security forces allegedly attacked the activist’ s residence in Ibadan.

In his speech, he vows that the federal government will see what they are looking for if they think they can invade the Yoruba people, ” we can handle them, and we will deal with the federal government” he declared.

Sunday Igboho started having misunderstanding with the federal government after he accused the Fulani leader in Ibarapa, Oyo state of sponsoring kidnapping, and he illegally chased him out of the state, he further dares the federal government, and publicly declared the south Westerner states not to be part of Nigeria again.

The Nigeria’ s intelligence agency known as the DSS had recently attempted to arrest lgboho along the Ibadan/Lagos Expressway.

Olayemi Koiki further explained that the south- west is for the Yoruba people, and we can never be slaves in our land, he also sends messages to the federal government in which he said, ” we will shut down the southwest today, we won’ t stop agitating for the Yoruba Nation, will fight to the end, to the last man standing” .

While reacting to this, Mr Olayomi Koiki claimed that the gunmen were sent by the federal government. He said they are not going to stop their struggle for an independent Yoruba nation because of this.

According to Mr. Koiki, Sunday Igboho threatened to shut down the entire southwest today. Sending the message to the federal government, he said there will not be any movement in the region.

Sunday Igboho has been threatened continually after he evicted Fulani herdsmen from Ibarapa because the kidnapping and killings were attributed to them.

This reported attack is happening few months after officers of the DSS tried to arrest Chief Sunday Igboho along the Lagos- Ibadan expressway.

A lot of people have reacted differently to the video, in which some Facebook users advice the Sunday Igboho and his crews to stop the agitations for now for their safety.
