Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has once again stirred reactions on social media after he branded Insecurity in the country ” a war. ”

Nigeria has recently witnessed an incessant increase in crimes, ranging from Kidnappings, killings, tribal clashes, Fulani Herdsmen menace, Banditry, Boko Haram Insurgence and others in the country.

However, the baffling thing is that the insecurty problems in the country is coming from Boko Haram, ISWAP and Herdsmen who are all Northeners.

This literally mean that if the South wasn’ t in Nigeria, the south would have been the safest place on earth.

To this end, the likes of Nnamdi Kanu and Sunday Igboho have showed continous signs to divide Nigeria as they believe that the Northern Nigeria should be a country on her own with her own problems.

Reactions trailed social media after Nnamdi Kanu took to his Twitter page saying, ” NIGERIA: Stop calling it INSECURITY. It’ s WAR, simple! And it’ s coming from BokoHram, ISWAP & Herdsmen.

It’ s Northern, Islamic & driven by #Fulani. They’ ve conquered the North & soon coming to the South. Call a spade, a spade. Nonsense! ”

According to him, insecurty is a war that is gradually spreading to the south which is obvious in recent happenings.

Nigerians have taken to their social media handles to react to Nnamdi Kanu’ s Twitter post and have raised opinions supporting him for his remarks.

The question remains, what should be done to save Nigeria from this current Insecurity problems?

Should Nigerians join the likes of Sunday Igboho and Nnamdi Kanu to agitate for restructuring or division of the country? Or should they put their hopes on the present day government to solve these challenges?
