The Biafra Nations League, BNL, has revealed that the action of the former Inspector- General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, has indicated that the federal government is willing to go through any length to ensure that all Igbo agitators are killed.

This statement was made after the former Inspector General of Police, IGP, Mohammed Adamu, ordered the deployment of thousands of military troops and security squads to Imo State in the wake of the prison attack.

Recall that a few days ago, some unknown group of men, suspected to be members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, attacked and razed down the prison facility in Owerri, Imo State.

It was also reported that over 2, 000 prisoners escaped and ran away from the Owerri Correctional facility during the attack.

However, the Deputy National Leader of the Biafra group, Ebuta Akor Takon, who did not welcome the order, denounced the gunmen’ s s actions and stated that his organization is currently investigating their motives.

In a statement, he said, ” Because the IPOB has denied involvement and no group has claimed responsibility for the attacks on uniformed men in the South East, Cross River, and Akwa Ibom States, it is safe to assume that the federal government is sponsoring the attacks in order to label all Biafrans as terrorists. ”

The Biafra group further stated that the former IGP was wrong to assume that the members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, were behind the prison attack.

The group stated that Mohammed Adamu did not execute a proper investigation to find out the group who is responsible for the attack.

Nevertheless, the Biafra group advised the federal government not to come after any Igbo agitator, nor the innocent people of Biafra.

“The federal government must not play with the lives of the people of old Eastern Nigeria, ” the group warned
