According to the news that was published by Punch Newspaper this morning, it has been alleged that a generator repairer who resides in the Oworoshonki area of Lagos State has narrated his ordeal, after he was attacked by hoodlums who labeled him a cultist.

According to the information that was gotten, it was alleged that initially, some hoodlums who do attack residents of Oworoshonki were chased out of the community, after residents contracted private security men to chase them out of their area and due to that, they promised to always attack any resident of the community they know whenever they see them outside.

However, unfortunately for him Segun Akinyemi, who happens to be a generator repairer, a customer from Ifako told him to come help him repair his generator and while they were on their way going, as soon as they got to New Garage, they started hearing some people telling them to stop and by the time they looked at their back, they saw that the hoodlums were on bike and when they stopped, they firstly accused him of been Aiye confraternity member and after, they said he was also among the people that chased them out of their community and due to that, they started attacking him, as they used a big stone to smash his head, broke bottle and stabbed him on his hand and on his head again.

Segun Akinyemi alleged that when he saw that they won’t leave him alone untill they kill, he shouted police men were already coming and due to this, the assailants fled and left him alone. He made it known that his customer who was also on bike with him was not attacked but, he was robbed.
