An Igbo women socio-cultural organization known as Ndinne Igbo has lamented how killer herdsmen are wasting the lives of Igbo indigenes and condemned the recent attacks on the resident of Enugu and Ebonyi State respectively.

The group while calling for more proactive measures to curb the menace on the part of the government, stated that many Igbo children have become terrible victims of the attacks by those nefarious herdsmen.

Ndinne Igbo, in a statement signed by its President, Mrs. Beatrice Chukwubuike, on Saturday disclosed it has concluded plans to march naked around Igbo land to protest the killings and alleged raping of women.

The group further called on Nigeria and Igbo leaders to take urgent measures before the whole issue leads to anarchy.

Also, the Coalition of Christian Leaders in the southeast zone has threatened that it would march to all the government houses in the South East to show their displeasure on how the governors are handling the killings in the zone.

The spokesman of the coalition, Pastor Okey Idika, stated that it will be negligent of duty if the Christian Community in the South East refuses to register their displeasure on the issue.

He vowed to mobilize all men and women of God to show their anger on the killings going on in the zone by suspected killer herdsmen.
