Nnamdi Kanu Shares Old Newspaper where Sheikh Gumi Allegedly called Boko Haram a blessing to Nigeria
The leader of the Independent People of Biafra IPOB Nnamdi Kanu has shared a throwback newspaper in which Muslim Cleric Sheikh Ahmad Gumi called Boko Haram a Blessing to Nigerian Muslims.
According to Nnamdi Kanu;
There’s Something sickening about Nigeria and those that Defend her. Makes you wonder if all is well with their brain cells”
The headline read in Hausa;
“Boko Haram ta kawo Alherai Ga Musulmin Nijeriya”.
“Translated to English”.
“Boko Haram has brought Blessings to Nigerian Muslims”.
It is unclear which newspaper published the story and the real contents of the story. However, since it’s coming from Sheikh Gumi many people have already began to raise eyebrows.
Recall, that Sheikh Gumi had suddenly become the mediator between the armed bandits in the North and the Government. He had also consistently made controversial statements about insecurity in the country.
