Imo State Is Not Safe, I Am Going To Owerri But We Are Currently Hiding In The Bush – Man Says (Details below)
A video shared on social media showed a man advise people to cancel their plans of coming to Imo State following what he has witnessed on his way to Owerri, the state capital. A description by the person that shared the video revealed the video was made on Monday, 26 April, 2021.
The video showed the man plead that people should not travel to Imo State because according to him there is crisis everywhere. He said he was travelling to Owerri with some other passengers but they were hiding in the bush at the time he made the video because of the danger they encountered. To confirm he meant what he said, the man brought the attention of his viewers to the sound of gunshots coming from a far distance from his position.
In conclusion, the man asked that people should pray for them to reach their destinations safely and added that he made the video to alert everyone.
This is happening hours after the commander of the Eastern Security Network (ESN), Ikonso, was killed in his home town Awomama, Imo State, during a joint military and police operation.
