The Former Aide of President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri who is well known as one of the greatest critics of President Mohammadu Buhari has said that it was due to their intense pressure which they mounted on Buhari in the Abuja House in London that made the president change his mission in the British capital.

He insisted that Buhari didn’ t come to London to rest as he now claims but he went there to see his doctors but for the past one week, Nigerians led by Reno Omokri besieged the premise of the Abuja House in London, they demonstrate every day, calling on President Buhari to return to Nigeria to go and build a standard hospital that he and other Nigeria can use for medical treatment.

Reno Tweeted that ” General @MBuhari did not go to London to rest, as he now claims. He went to see his doctors. The reason why he changed his mission is because we frustrated him and placed him under house arrest for one full week with #HarassBuhariOutofLondon, and he converted the arrest to rest!


Reno Omokri who flew in from the US where he resides to come over to London to lead the #HarassBuhariOutofLondon protest has called on Nigerians in London to come out en- mass and join the protest since today is a work- free day for most Nigerians in London.

He added through a second Tweet that they have succeeded in making Buhari change the initial reason why he came there, he, therefore, beckons on Nigerians to come out and send Buhari back to Nigeria to come back and solve the security problems bedevilling the country.

Reno Omokri was arrested and questioned by the Metropolitan Police over the protest, but he was released on spot after he was interviewed by the police, he has since continued the protest unabated.
