UFC Champion, Israel Adesanya has apologized for his rape comment.
In a social media post, he stated that he would “rape” his fellow fighter Kevin Holland and it is from this that he has rendered an unqualified apology..

After making the comment, several social media users lambasted him and this made him to even delete the video.

In the video he shared on Instagram, he was heard saying;

“Bro, I will fuckin’ rape you.”

However, the Nigerian-born New Zealand MMA fighter has admitted that his comment was faulty, and taking to his Twitter handle, he wrote;

“Last week fight talk escalated to a point in which I crossed the line. I understand the gravity of this word and how it can affect and hurt other people apart from my opponent, although that was never my intention.

I am still growing under the spotlight, and I take this as a lesson to be more selective with words under pressure.”
