Ogbeni Dipo (Dipo Awojide) , a Nigerian educationist and career coach based in the United Kingdom, has received a lot of backlash on social media for his comments about the value of the naira..

The Twitter influencer and lecturer used the forum to say that, contrary to popular belief, the Nigerian currency, the Naira, is not useless, but rather weak.

Dipo, while stating this, then warned people to be mindful of the language they use when talking about the naira.

He tweeted;

The Naira is not useless. The Naira is weak. Watch your language and pick your words.
