Biafra, Oduduwa: Real enemies of Nigeria won’t support disintegration – Pastor Giwa

Senior pastor of Awaiting The Second Coming Of Christ Ministry, Adewale Giwa has said that those stopping the disintegration of Nigeria are the real enemies of the people..

In a statement to Edujandon.com on Wednesday, the outspoken cleric noted that Nigerians have endured bad governance, selfishness, oppression, nepotism and tribalism over the years, adding that at this point, “only the enemies of Nigeria will be asking for restructuring or preventing the citizens to part ways.”

Giwa pointed out that keeping the citizens together under “One Nigeria slogan” and refusing to give them good governance is extremely evil and a grave injustice, wondering why a country as rich as Nigeria cannot “tackle unemployment, insecurity and hunger.”

He continued, “A president gets to the position and decides to appoint his people in the key positions. No ethic balancing, and this has continued to play itself out over the years. Why is it difficult to allow an Itsekiri, Igbo or “Nupe”man to be president of people since Nigeria returned to democratic rule?

“Do you consider over 100 million of Nigerians who continue to live in abject poverty at all? What happens to our electricity, roads and bad economy?

“The God who loves what is good must not love what is evil. He hates injustice and detests oppression. Specifically, God does not like people who cheat others in order to enrich themselves, you can see this in Deuteronomy 25:13-16.

“God means for justice to reign in this world through the people made in His image. He calls people to care for others in love and to ease their suffering. It takes people with conscience to do what is right. Why do you want to keep the country together when you cannot maintain justice and equity?

“Disintegration is biblical and you can see it in Genesis Chapter 13 when Abraham and Lot separated with a view to allowing peace to reign. Separation doesn’t mean hatred, but it means that all regions can as well manage what they have with their people.

“The political leaders brought separation, tribalism to the system of Nigeria. What does it mean when you are putting your people in the key positions and neglecting other tribes?

“In reality, the real enemies of Nigeria won’t support disintegration because they know it is the permanent solution to the challenges facing the country.”
