Bandits Murder Traditional Ruler, Two Others In Fresh Attack In Sokoto
In a sad report, a traditional ruler has been murdered in a Sokoto community.
He was killed by suspected armed bandits and the community where he is the ruler is known as Tunga found in the Illela Local Government Area of Sokoto State..
The traditional ruler was killed together with two others and per what we gathered, these armed bandits stormed the village shooting sporadically into the air.
The traditional ruler was reportedly shot dead after he refused to follow the bandits who wanted to abduct him and this comes a few days after gunmen attacked Amarawa community, also in Illela LGA, killing at least 10 persons.
