Bobby Shmurda is a free man.
After serving six years and two months in prison, the Brooklyn rapper was released from Clinton Correctional Facility in upstate New York on Tuesday (Feb. 23), XXL has confirmed. Based on the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision database, his status now says “released.”.

A video was also shared via the Instagram page @2cool2bl0g this morning, which shows Bobby on what appears to be a private jet shortly after his release. “#BobbyShmurda Almost home 👀 they picking him up in a jet,” the IG post reads.
