However, in today’ s article, we will be revealing to you one of our own Nollywood actors whom we lost to the cold hands of death some years ago.
It should be noted that Yul Edochie is one name that stands out in the Nollywood industry. Yul Edochie is one man that is well known in Nigeria and has been considered one of the outstanding men in the industry.
Actor Yul Edochie is the son to legendary actor Pete Edochie. He is outstanding, phenomenal and one of the best actors in the Nigerian industry.
Yul Edochie has acted hundreds of movies in Nollywood and also has directed so many. He is also one of the very few men who have helped a lot of careers in Nigeria.
Yul Edochie has established his name in the heart of many Nigerians and has been appreciated for his contributions to the Nollywood industry.
Yul Edochie is married to his lovely wife May Aligwe, and the marriage is blessed with four children.
However, the year 2015 was a sad day for Yul Edochie. Precisely, it was in January 18 2015 when his cousin who is by the name Muna Obiekwe gave up the ghost after being diagnosed with a kidney problem.
He was buried on February 3, 2015. He was buried in his hometown in Anambra state, Nigeria. As depicted in the pictures below, many Nollywood actors and actresses were in attendance to pay their last respect to Muna Obiekwe.
It is now 6 years since the sad news, and today, we are going to share you some of the pictures from the burial programme.
Although Nigerians have forgotten about the death of this Nollywood actor because it has been 6 years, but it is worthy to note that his loved ones are still remembering him.
I know that many never knew that late actor Muna is Yul Edochie’ s cousin. Hence, we would want you to put Yul’ s family in your prayers and also, let us not fail to pray that the soul of Muna Obiekwe rest in peace.
